Oliver Waterman is a guitarist-composer. He’s performed for weddings, art openings, political events, in bands and on several albums. Waterman is always composing and performing to share the voice and soul of the guitar.
Oliver Waterman got his start performing for an art opening on New Years Eve at Aucocisco when he was 16. Since then Waterman played all sorts of concerts, shows, weddings, restaurants, art galleries, and even political events. In his 20’s Waterman started playing in local bands as a guitarist, singer and bassist and was a singer/songwriter and recording artist.
In 2016 Waterman decided to go to the School of Music at the University of Southern Maine where He studied under Keith Crook, earning his BM in music performance for classical guitar. Crook gave Him the foundational understanding of guitar technique, music theory and history that he desperately needed to become the performer and composer he is today. Waterman currently composes studies, concert pieces, improvises counterpoint, live streams, and creates his own arrangements of classical and pop music. He’s performed and composed for guitar for almost 2 decades and recently released his first album of art guitar compositions. An EP called Dim Bloom.
